Hi, just your local Mayan here reminding you the world isn’t ending tomorrow.
Also, that Mayans still exist.
And finally, that we have a language that is still spoken, and written, and that our science and other studies have developed with time and we’re not some stone age group of savages carving shit into stone for all eternity just so some iztacchuatl will find it and tell us white jesus is gonna end the world when our calender stops working for her.

Long before Street Style was Street Style, and long before the high street was flooded with ubiquitous Blondie T-shirts - certainly before she was being mistaken by the paps for Lindsey Lohan (don’t do drugs, kids. *sad face* ) there was Debbie Harry with her sharp cheekbones, peroxide do and couldn’t give a fuck-ness.
She talks about her accidental fashion icon status in a recent interview with Style.com
“He would make drawings and say ‘okay… Wear this with this with this’. I would just get dressed like a blind fool and somehow I guess that’s how people started thinking that I was fashionable and that I really knew what I was doing.”
(On her releationship with stylist Stephen Sprouse)

We followed the monarch on one years progression through the colour spectrum to discover her favourite shades…
The Queen in every colour in a year.

I like this girl. A lot.
I think Jeremy Scott’s collections are always up there in my favourites folder, season after season. Obviously not in a ‘ohh, must copy this’ kind of way - i know my limitations, but I love his ability to laugh at the self referencing cycle of fashion:
The 90s, by way of them referencing the 70s, early internet geocities culture LOLZ via leggings printed with computer screen shots and a midi file runway soundtrack reminding me of teenage trips to Camden to stock up on cheap hair mascara and Lisa Frank stickers.

The marriage of Mr Ray Vander and Miss Marie de Marie, Stoke Newington.
Mr Ray Vander (the captain of the boys European roller skating team) with his new wife Miss Marie de Maria (the captain of the girls team). The happy couple are showered in confetti by well wishers.

Scarlet lips with blown out hair, and red and white French Riviera ensembles act as the perfect backdrop to the dramatic story.
